Unit of Credit: 1/2 (18 weeks - 1st semester)

 

This course is an introduction to media with an emphasis on video equipment, planning and design, and production.  Students will learn about different types of equipment used for recording, editing, and playing video.  They will learn the basics involved in video pre-production, production, and post-production.  The course also examines the careers associated with video production.  Students will develop the communication skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
