Because we believe it is important to educate the whole child, Hammondsport Central School offers a variety of counseling services to our students from kindergarten through 12th grade.  Individual, group and family counseling are available to help students, parents and teachers deal with a wide range of issues including behavior problems, anger management, communication skills, test anxiety, self-esteem, peer problems, grief, divorce and custody issues and substance abuse. 

 

The goal is to help students and families identify their strengths and to focus on solutions rather than problems.

 

Various support groups are available including Junior High Girls' Club, and Senior High Girls' Club.
