    Introducing the Five Members
    of the Board of Education
     
    Dennis Carlson
    Dennis R. Carlson, President
     
    Dennis and his wife, Pamela, have been part of the Hammondsport Central School District for nine years and have four children and six grandchildren. Mr. Carlson holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters Degree from Clarkson University, and has served in the United States marine Corps. Dennis serves on the boards of the Keuka Lake Association, Glenn H. Curtiss Museum and is a member of the Wayne Town Board. Prior to becoming a HCSD Board Member, Dennis had an active roll on the HCS Strategic Planning Committe and Strategic Planning Group and most recently is actively involved in the HCS Buiding Maintenance Project.

    Rick Drain
    Richard L. Drain, Vice President
     
     

    Rick has been a resident of the HCS District since 1999 and has served on the Board of Education since 2002.  He holds a B.A. from St. Bonaventure University and is currently employed as an insurance industry training consultant and local business owner.  Rick and his wife Deborah have two sons, Cameron and Colin.

    Kevin W. Bennett
     

    Kevin has been a resident of the Hammondsport district since 1998 and was elected to the Board of Education in August 2013. He holds a B.S. in Applied Science in Engineering from Rutgers University and is currently employed as a development manager at Corning Incorporated.  Kevin and his wife Christine have two daughters, who currently attend school at HCS.

    Linda Lowin
           Lynda S. Lowin
     

    Lynda has been a resident of Hammondsport since 1996.  She holds a B.S. in Education from Ohio University, with added course work in project management and Six Sigma/LEAN for nonprofit process improvement.   Lynda is currently employed as Director of Turning Point, a service priority of Catholic Charities of Steuben.  She and her husband, Jon, have three children all of whom graduated from HCS.  More information can be found at www.lyndalowin.com.

    Carre A. Doyle

    Carre A. Doyle

     

    Carre is a wife, mother and co-owner of Doyle Vineyard Management.  Her and her husband Matt reside on Keuka Lake and have four children enrolled in the district.  Carre holds a BA in Political Science from Syracuse University and a M.S.T in Childhood Education from SUNY Cortland.  Carre also serves on the board of the Keuka Lake Sailing Foundation, Finger Lakes Boating Museum and Vines of Hope.  Carre enjoys running, snow skiing and boating.
