The Hammondsport Central School District Board of Education is working on short-range and long-range plans for the school district to help meet the Board goals of providing a high quality program that meets the needs of all District students while being fiscally responsible to District taxpayers.

The Board is seeking residents to volunteer to take part in a Community Focus Group. The Focus Group will meet on Wednesday, March 25th from 6pm-9pm. The Board hopes to bring together about 30 to 35 community members who are representative of all residents, taxpayers, and stakeholder groups of the Hammondsport School District Community. The Board of Education and Superintendent will not be present at this meeting. We hope to have volunteers that come from a variety of positions in the District, such as business owners, single residents, senior citizens, parents, resident faculty and staff, and government officials. For those that need or want it, a lite dinner will be provided in the cafeteria beginning at 5:30pm and child care for school age students will be provided for the duration of the workshop.
